This show I designed and painted the set and
made the prop for Pandora's Box.. The audience was in the round
for this production. Yet another simple design, but I loved
how the stage was supposed to be a cracked piece of rock with
"volcanic" lighting coming up through the fissure.
The other piece I enjoyed was the column made with fishing line
(originally I intended it to have glass shards suspended on
the fishing lines, but it looked fine without them.) We lit
thru the top and bottom of the column to show the fishing line,
giving the essence of a column yet not block any of the audience's
view.
