Welcome to Wild Rooster Productions! This website has been around a while and I thought I would work on a new look. My husband and I created this website back in the days or yore, (or over 6 years ago) with a simple design, something practical so it would be easy to add my artwork. Well, we've been updating my website but it's been long overdue for this opening page to get a face lift! We picked the name for my website after my husband's family name, which means “rooster” and enjoyed fantasizing about what the prospects that Wild Rooster Productions might have as a business name and where we might go with it. As time went by, we hatched a couple of new productions (our sons, Frank and Evan!) and my career has made some slight shifts to accommodate our family growth, but I am finally getting to this front page!

When I thought about a new look for the website I almost decided to give up the name Wild Rooster Productions and just go by my own name. I consternated over that decision for a while because I didn't see myself as a big company right now. And what about the family name? I contemplated the idea that taking on the Le Cocq family name was kind of like stepping into a rooster costume, it was a layer I added on top of myself, something fun, a little proud, and goofy all at the same time, and VOILA! There was my new look for my website!

My career has taken me on a great journey of exploring various ways I can use my art, from traditional painting and drawing, to designing for theatre, film, storyboarding and currently animation. In between freelance gigs I have been enjoying pulling out the old oils, watercolors and acrylic paints to get back to doing artwork messy and hands on! Computers are great, but there is something very wonderful about getting your fingers wet with paint and smearing it around on a canvas! Here are some of the fruits of my creative endeavors over the past few years. Enjoy your visit!
